I worked closely with Steve Smith who went above and beyond to secure me a role in my desired destination. We held regular conversations over the phone where he listened to what I wanted and pitched me roles based on this. Once I had chosen the role I wanted, he was able to secure me a really good deal and made things happen really quickly. After I had settled into the role, I was pleasantly surprised to still receive regular phone calls to check in with how I was settling in and how I was enjoying the role. I would highly recommend Steve and will definitely reach out to him in future should I be in need for a new role.
Steve Smith is one of a rare few recruiters that will stay in touch with you throughout the process of your job search. He would give me a few roles to choose from and apply to and explained the roles very well. He kept me updated on where my applications are at, other recruiters may never get back to you once you've raised interest in a role despite that they reached out to you in the first place... He is also very understanding you have other applications and is not pushy to accept/proceed with any application if you do not feel comfortable.

Emma in the Reading office is by far the best recruiter I have ever come across. Whilst I was looking for a new role I had contacted many recruiters at different firms and frustratingly a large amount either didn’t return my calls, lacked communication and lacked a huge amount of skills. One day, out of the blue Emma contacted me about a role which she had just taken on and was not yet advertised. Baring in mind I had never spoken to Emma before, she took the initiative to contact me as she knew I would be a great fit for the role after reviewing my cv from their database. Well what can I say, she was very right, she has successfully placed me in a fantastic new role! I worked with Stacey in the Reading office as an applicant for a Head of Legal role, and would definitely recommend Michael Page and Stacey in particular. She made sure that she was fully across the detail of the client/ employer's business and requirements, and took great care to make sure both that the applicant was going to fit the employer's brief, and that the employer was right for the applicant. I felt very well prepared for the application and interview process - much better than I would have been without Stacey's input - and she was then able to liaise effectively between employer and applicant to draw out further areas of interest between 1st and 2nd interview. Stacey also gave me pragmatic and unbiased advice when I was navigating several job opportunities. I have subsequently had recommendations for Stacey from another employee who then instructed Stacey as an employer as they were so impressed with her service ("Stacey is awesome").
