VJ Carers have looked after my father-in-law for a few months now and I have to say we are very pleased with their service. They look after his meals, medication and help with personal care in a professional, efficient and compassionate manner. They have been a god-send during a very difficult time. We are always well informed about his care and anything he needs in advance. I would recommend them to anyone looking for warm and truly compassionate carers who know what they are doing.
From the first meeting with VJ Carers they have shown themselves to be efficient, good communicators & compassionate. When the time came to increase Grandmother's care we were very pleased that VJ Carers had the capacity to carry on & arrangements where made seamlessly. Office staff, have always been polite & helpful when sorting care around holidays & Christmas. Any deviations from care i.e. timing, a carer running late (very rarely) have been communicated in time.
Only giving 1 star because Ican't give 0 stars, unprofessional management, didn't bother doing my initial assessment correctly before taking on my care package, lack of communication, didn't even bother to inform me that they had withdrawn from my package of care, my advice to vj carers manager is make sure you do a proper assessment of needs before taking a client or care contract, so you have an accurate idea of your clients needs, routines and so on can easily be communicated over the phone. Please retrain carers not make clients feel rushed or make them feel like an inconvenience, everyones needs and abilities are different, body language speaks volumes, start the day on a relaxed and positive note, the way your carers behave and speak with your clients could affect them and their mood the whole day
